Right around this time last year we had just made our reservations for the Annual Lions Club Prime Rib dinner at Witherbee's Carriage House.

As relative newbies to Schroon, we had heard about this tradition but didn't quite know what to expect. Boy, were we in for a treat. This is one of those nights where you can catch up with just about anybody who is anybody in Schroon and surrounding towns. Flat landers even make it to the event!!!

And it's probably the tastiest $20 donation you can make to help out a terrific cause. Lions Club members not only are your waiters and waitresses, but they also lend a hand in the kitchen. Your $20 donation ($22 at the door) will get you a salad, dinner rolls, a slice of the juciest prime rib around and a dessert. It even includes the tip! And it's on this Saturday, October 20.
