3rd Annual Chili Cook Off: What You need to Know
For a fun day out and a way to help our local Schroon EMS Squad, there's only one place to be next Saturday, February 22.
Schroon's Third Annual Chili Cook Off is from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Mountainside Gym. It's $15 for an unlimited tasting wristbands, $5 for single bowl of chili to-go or $1 for individual tasting tickets. Here is a list of entrants and what they are cooking!

Shelby says anyone not able to attend but would like to donate to the cause or sponsor a trophy can do so via Paypal at www.schroonlakechilicookoff.org.
"We are still looking for some volunteers to help out at the event; set up, staff some chili tables, clean up, etc. Volunteers get a free tasting wristband to sample all the chilis," writes Shelby.. Judges this year include Todd Paris, Jim and Judy Allison, Curtis Becraft, Carla Lynne Hall, Joe Steiniger.
