Monday

The Schroon Farmers Market on the lawn at the Town Hall, starts at 9am. Get there early for the best pick of everything fresh!

Tonight is the acoustic band jam at the Boat House. 7pm. Proudly sponsored by the Schroon Lake Arts Council. Last week we counted 12 guitars on stage, a banjo,  one dulcimer and two huge bass.

Tuesday

Schroon Lake Boat Tour, featuring a narrated history of the lake. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce. Tour leaves at 11 am. Hosted by the Chamber. This is a great way to explore the northern section of the lake, while learning about the town’s rich history.

Harpeth Rising, an amazing progressive folk outfit,  part of the Schroon Lake Arts Council’s  sizzling Summer Series. It’s at 8pm at the Boat House. Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for adults.

Wednesday

Friends of Schroon Lake Library Book Sale. There are deals galore here and they have a special kids section to occupy the little ones, while mom and dad check out the bargains. 10am  - 2pm in the basement of the Hudson Headwaters Building.

Children’s story time at 10am at the library.  Then between 11:30am  - 12pm kids get to read to Cooper the Therapy Dog.

It’s back: The Schroon Lake Family  Square Dance. 7pm @ the Bandstand in the park! Last week attracted a huge crowd for the first dance of the season. If you have never been, try it!

Seagle Music Colony’s second production of the season – The Barber of Seville, premiere’s tonight. Call the SMC at 518-532-7875 for ticket availability.

Thursday

Arts and Crafts on the grass at the Town Hall from 10am.

Schroon Lake Boat tour, featuring a narrated history of the lake. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce.  Tour goes at 11 am.

At 1 pm there’s a special children’s program at the Library, Kids Zumba!!! Jump into it.

Adirondack Story Telling at the Boat House at 7pm. Read more here.

And our weekend preview: SATURDAY: The Schroon Lake Arts and Crafts MASSIVE Fair at tie town park, The Adirondack Shakespeare Company proudly presents Songs of The Iroquois. 11 am @ The Scaroon manor Amphitheater at 11 am,  and then on SUNDAY  the company presents The Merry Wives of Windsor, 2 pm at The Tannery, in North Creek.
