You Know It’s Summer In Schroon when -- among many highlights -- it’s pouring rain, the acoustic band jam is back, square dancing becomes hip again, our bars and restaurants are packed, the inventory of Topps triples in size, the population quadruples and of course the beloved Schroon Lake Farmers market is back every Monday.
Tomorrow (June 29) is opening day on the lawns of the Town Hall. This gem features some of the North Country’s best purveyors, with hand picked fresh produce just hours out of the ground.
It’s a treat for all, and we are not alone in being thrilled these dedicated farmers keep coming back year after year.

There are 12 vendors set up on the grass at the Town Hall parking lot for the first Thursday Schroon Crafts Fair, which runs each week into the early fall. And there are always there on July 4th. Enjoy!!!
