Getting Happy In Schroon Just Got Easier!

We are in awe of entrepreneurs who take a leap of faith and open new businesses here in Schroon.

They work hard to realize a dream, take a huge gamble, and risk a fortune, all the while rolling the dice on its future success. Two recent examples are Sticks and Stones and Paradox Brewery. Both businesses recently celebrated their second anniversaries.

The latest business to join the club is Vine and Barley, the wine and beer tavern, located inside the Towne Store. You can read the history of how owners Patti and Bob Mehm realized their dream, here.

Serving wine and beer, (and lots of non-alcoholic drinks too!) and featuring an inviting menu to compliment the beverages, the tavern has received a warm welcome from locals and vacationers alike.

And this week, Vine and Barley rolled out its first ever Happy Hour. From Sunday through Thursday, from 3pm to 5pm, there are buy one get one free drink specials.

And Sticks and Stones is also in the Happy Hour business. Monday to Thursday, 4pm  - 7pm.
