Stewart's Ice Cream  do a heck of a lot to help not only our community in Schroon, but hamlets all over the North Country. They were a big sponsor of the Schroon Labor Day Fireworks, and donate tons of their frozen deliciousness for non-profits.

And they are celebrating Back To School with a coloring contest, where all kids win.  Fill in the coloring sheet (See the link below) and bring it into the store and you'll receive a free single scoop ice cream cone. Early Warning: Road Closures During the Marathon

The countdown is on for the the Adirondack Long Distance Festival weekend, and when it arrives there are road closures galore. So in order to help you plan your weekend (September 27), the good folks on the planning committee have released in advance a map and list of street closures and the times they will be in effect.
