The Passing Of A Schroon Lake Legend

Bruce Robinson, who owned the Marina up until 2005 when it was known as the Maypine Marina, died after suffering a long illness last week.

Robinson, from Maryland, New York, was 67 when he passed away on Friday, April 12.

From his official obituary from the Heller Funeral Home:

"He was a very active member of the small community, accepting responsibilities in the local school board and volunteer fire department, among others. Living in the Adirondacks allowed him to spend a great deal of time hunting, skiing and hiking outdoors, which he loved tremendously"

You can read the full obit here, or after the jump. Did you know Bruce? Share you memories with us in comments.
