Schroon Lake Arts Council 2016 Line Up

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming schedule of  the Schroon Lake Arts Council's summer concert series.

Their season kicks off on July 19 with a Johnny Cash Memorial Concert for the late Dan Riggins. Dan was a huge supporter of the arts in Schroon, and an Arts Council Board Member -- among many philanthropic hats he wore.

Other highlights include the annual Adirondack Folk Arts Festival on August 14th and a kid’s production by the Hampstead Stage Company on July 23. Both of those events are free.

See the full schedule below. We will be featuring all of the artists in a series of stories right here on SchroonLaker.com.

Schroon Lakers -- got really cool, funky, retro and unique (rusty) stuff? Then the producers of the History Channel's American Pickers series want to talk to you.  The stars of the show  -- Mike and Frank, who call themselves modern day archeologists, are looking for personal collections in garages, basements, lofts and barns -- what they don't want are established businesses like stores, restaurants or antique shops. What do you collect? Tell us in comments!
