There are tasty treats aplenty at our favorite North Country Bakery, in honor of Columbus Day. Ed Marks. of the North Wood Bread Co, have Sourdough Boules, Pain au Levain with Cherries and Pecans Boules, Pumpernickel Rustic Loaves and Squash Toasting. Also, a couple of day old loafs at half price. Ed's wife Lisa made Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

"A Blue and white Yamaha 242 Limited with the cover on seems to have come off its mooring. Now floating in the north end of the lake, south of the island off of the east shore".
