This Saturday night in Schroon, you might pick up a bargain and do a little Christmas shopping. It’s the Schroon Lake Central School’s Class of 2018 Annual Auction, in the auditorium.

The preview is from 5pm to 6:30pm, with the hammer going down at 7pm. Got new or gently used items  -- furniture, gift ware, etc. – or a gift certificate? Call the Schroon Lake Central at (518) 532-7164 to make arrangements to have it dropped off or picked up.

Every year the community comes together to help those who need a little help over the holidays with the Christmas Express Program. Saturday, there’s a Bake Sale at the Schroon Lake Shopping Mall (AKA: The Dollar General).

Stop on by from 10am to 4pm and get some yummy treats, including, we are told, Thanksgiving worthy pies!

Look for the wishes of young people at the specialChristmas Express Christmas Tree at the Tops. Pick up a tags with a child’s wish. It’s a feel good experience.
