This weekend, by far, is gonna be the best of the season for skiing and snowboarding at Gore. The resort, basking in the glow of recently being named to Ski magazine’s top 10 lists in its annual rankings, will also feature a weekend long events at The Ski Bowl with its Nordic Fest and Snow Shoe Race.

Ski Magazine ranked the mountain in the top 10 for scenery, value, lifts, terrain variety and accessibility. Overall, the mountain was ranked at Number 15 in the East in the 2017 rankings.

Another area ski resort that made the 2017 rankings include sister mountain Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, at Number 3 for overall Eastern ski resort. In Vermont, Killington, Okemo, Mount Snow and Stratton were also recognized as top resorts in the East.
