There's a rare opportunity to see weavers from Ecuador this weekend at Dartbrook's in Keene. A hat tip to Lisa Hess-Marks, from Schroon's own amazing home firnishing's store, Pinecone Mercantile, for this tip:

"Event announcement! This Friday and Sunday we will be hosting the Andrango family, a family of backstrap weavers from Ecuador. They will be at the Dartbrook South location (two doors down from Dartbrook Rustic Goods) for a traditional backstrap weaving demonstration from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. Please welcome Miguel Andrago and his family! Miguel is in his early 90s and has been weaving since he was a young boy. He is very excited to showcase his art in the town of Keene. Everyone is welcome, so stop on by!"
