Schroon Lake Marina Makes National News

This is the pontoon boat that will be featured on Fox and Friends Sunday
Sunday morning — Fox and Friends— will be talking about boats. And Schroon and Loon Lake Marinas will be part of the coverage when a gorgeous Sylvan tricked out Pontoon Boat will be featured on their broadcast.
Schroon Marina's Craig Kennedy says the top honcho from Sylvan asked if he could supply a boat for the segment. Long story short: the boat was headed south on Saturday afternoon to the big Apple for its debut.
Craig says that their will be signs on the boat featuring the names of both marinas.
Increased Patrols on Area Lakes
/The Post-Star’s Don Lehman reports there are increased patrols of area lakes by law enforcement, in the wake of the 2016 alcohol related accident on Lake George, which claimed the life of 8-year-old Charlotte McCue and hurt several others.
“Warren County Sheriff Bud YorkYork said the Sheriff’s Office’s boat patrol will also continue its contract to put a boat patrol on Schroon Lake and have a roving patrol that will spend time on Brant Lake, Glen Lake and the Hudson River and other lakes in the county, as complaints warrant”.
