/Food, Fun and Fireworks: Schroon’s July 4th Celebration today is an all day event, with something for everybody.
Thousands are expected to pack the Town Beach, Park and Parade route, which captures the best of small town USA. And it’s gonna be another scorcher: a top of 92, so take care.

Get Up Jack Gets Funky at First Boat House Concert

The Schroon Lake Arts Council brings Get Up Jack as the opening act to their summer Tuesday night concert series.
The show promises to be a joyous, retro-romp by six of the most energetic and charismatic performers in Irish music today. From their bio:
"Their soaring vocals and enthusiastic performances have drawn comparisons to the old- school groups of their youth (like The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers and The Wolfe Tones), yet it is their own unique instrumentation, style and delivery that makes them a one-of-a-kind experience".
