The Summer of 2018 marks the 10th Annual House and Garden Tour, to raise funds for the Schroon Lake Public Library. Five beautiful homes and gardens are on the Tour this year. Tickets are available now at the Schroon Lake Public Library for $25.00. This year the tour will be held on August 5th from 12 noon- 4 pm.
Tuesday, July 10, marks the launch of the Schroon Lake Arts Council's 2018 Boathouse Concert with the world famous Irish band "Get Up Jack"
From The Arts Council:
"Get Up Jack is a joyous, retro-romp by six of the most energetic and charismatic performers in Irish music today. Their soaring vocals and enthusiastic performances have drawn comparisons to the old- school groups of their youth (like The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers and The Wolfe Tones), yet it is their own unique instrumentation, style and delivery that makes them a one-of-a-kind experience".

For many vacationing in greater Schroon Lake area, a stay is not complete without a trip to the world famous summer horses racing at Saratoga Springs.
The 2018 season for the Saratoga Race Course begins with Opening Day on Friday, July 20, 2018 and ends with Closing Day on Monday (Labor Day), September 3, 2018. There are 6 days of racing each week all season long (the Track is dark on Tuesdays). Travers Day will be Saturday, August 25, 2018.
