Learning About Logging

Logging in our area is a part of the Adirondack’s rich history. This weekend there’s a celebration of this industry -- past and present -- at the Tannery Community Center in North Creek.

The program will include a History of Logging Presentation, Widlund Gallery Reception for Logging Art and Artifacts, Dave Ruch & Canal Street String Band, Loggers Parade, The Log Jammers, The Logger – Comedian Rusty DeWees, demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and children’s activities. The fun starts on August 24, through to the 25th.

Activities will take place at both the Tannery Pond Community Center and Riverfront Park. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for the evening performances. All other activities are FREE
