The Schroon Lake Library presents a 13 week GriefShare program starting  Monday
September 10 at the Schroon Lake Public Library Community Room.

Fro the Library: "If you know someone who is grieving, please invite them to come be a part of this group to help in their healing. The program is from 6:30pm  - 8:30 pm each session.

Schroon's Last Arts and Craft Fair of 2018 This Thursday

It’s never too early to stock up on some ADK themed gifts, fresh produce,  or grab some take home memories of your stay in the Adirondacks. This is the last fair of he season, which started in June.  You'll find the vendors on the grassy area outside the Schroon Lake Town Hall.

The day starts at 10 am and goes through to 3pm. You won’s be disappointed: There’s Dave's Local Honey, Maple Syrup & Balsam Pillows, Tom's Hand Crafted Soaps, Mickey Caputo-Abbott's Everyday Ceramics, Bert's Jams & Jellies, Jim's Handcrafted Jewelry Boxes, Berdie's Catnip, Wallets & Coasters, and Al Massa Birdhouses, Bat Houses and more. Birdhouse can be made to order from $50.

The Friends of the Schroon Lake Library are swapping wine for beer!

In fact they are changing up an old favorite fundraiser for a new one. Their Annual Wine Tasting Event is now a Beer Tasting to benefit the Schroon Lake Public Library. So save the date:  Sunday, September 16th from 2-4 PM at Sticks & Stones Restaurant.

The event will include appetizers as well live music performed by Vinnie Leddick. Tickets are available at Sticks & Stones and at the Schroon Lake Public Library. $25.00 a piece.
