While The Snow Show Is Great, Sledding Can Wait!
/The Schroon Lake North Hudson’s Snowmobile Club’s main work horses that keep our area sledding trails in tip-top shape.
The much loved and used sledding trails system in our area is closed: That’s the message from the Schroon-North Hudson Snowmobile Club, who sends out this missive:
“Dear Humble Schroon Lake and North Hudson Snowmobilers
Just a reminder that the trails are NOT open.
For your safety and the future condition of the trails, please hold off riding. There is really no base to speak of as the ground is not frozen, and with the heavy snowfalls, there are many trail hazards and we have to go back through all the trails.
We promise to let you know when we open the trails.
You might be interested to know that an interactive Trail Map will be coming out in 2 or 3 weeks. You will be able to go on your computer or phone and check out real time trail conditions anywhere in the state....EVEN Paradise....I mean Schroon Lake! We will let you know about that too.
Thank you”
There’s a Club meeting this Friday (December,7, 2018) at 7 pm.
