The Schroon Lake Community Church's New Worship Space

This Sunday (March 3) the Schroon Lake Community Church moves into new temporary digs at the location of the former Schroon Lake Tavern.  The service is from 10am – 11am.  After a devastating fire destroyed the church on January 2, services were held at Our Lady of Lourdes.  Here is the official announcement from the Church.

From the church:

“God has graciously guided us to and provided us with this beautiful location. Don’t miss next Sunday for our first service in our temporary location while we rebuild. You may remember it as the Old Tavern in Schroon Lake or some folks called it the Schroon Lake Tavern. Come and support Pastor Lynnette in her new place of worship while rebuilding. 10 am. Worship will include Communion with EVERYONE able to participate. Afterward stay for coffee hour and discussion with Pastor Lynnette”.

 Where and when: 1531 Route 9, Schroon Lake, 12870. 10am – 11am. Coffee hour to follow.

Registration is open for one of the Adirondack’s premiere winter events: The Adirondack Sportsman’s Dinner.

After a gap year, Mountainside Bible Chapel once again is hosting this annual event, now in its 23rd year. The Dinner features great food, AMAZING PIES, exhibits, outdoor related seminars and prizes. The keynote speakers this year are hunting royalty: the Salerno Brothers, Pat and Tony.

When people talk about the Adirondack Mountains and Deer Hunting one name becomes obvious, The Salerno Brothers. Pat and Tony have been hunting the rugged Adirondack Mountains since knee-high to their dad Pat Salerno Sr. who taught them the art of still hunting, an art they call their own due to the tremendous success they have achieved by taking some of the biggest bucks of the Adirondacks. North American Whitetail Magazine had this to say about the brothers, “years of experience have placed the brothers among the premier trackers in the Adirondacks and it’s because no two hunters will make the effort and sacrifice to hunt the way they do.” Look for the Brothers on PBS Television, Fox 44’s outdoor hunting show “The Outfitter” and an upcoming episode on The Pursuit Channels -LIVE THE WILD LIFE- with co-host Gus Congemi.

Seagle Music Colony 2019 Season Announced

With an amazing line up for the 2019 Season, the Seagle Music Colony could have one of its most successful summers ever.

The season kicks off with its traditional Old Friends & New concert , on June 22, at 8 pm, at he Oscar Seagle Memorial Theatre. This is where the class of 2019 gets a chance to strut their stuff.
