The lens of Mike Calhoun, Senior Vice President at Word of Life, captured the scene outside Schroon Lake Central before classes started on Wednesday, which he later Tweeted:

"SYATP at Schroon Lake N Y school ....kids taking a stand ....Converge"

SYATP stands for See You at the Pole. It's an annual gathering of Christian students of all ages at a flgpole at their local school for prayer, scripture-reading and hymn-singing. It takes place during the early morning before school starts. The American SYATP events occur on every fourth Wednesday of September.
