Hard to believe but Gore Mountain --  a favorite of Schroon skiers near and far --  is expecting its first snow-flakes of the season Thursday.

That’s right – the resort is expected to get at least a dusting of the white stuff. From Weather.com:

Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will give way to cloudy skies with light rain and snow developing in the afternoon. High 46F. Winds WSW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
