At least that's the case here in Schroon. Today, a Haunted House opens at the new Community Center, in the space near Joanies Baked Goodies and the El Mexicana Restaurant. 

The spookyness starts at 4 pm.

Saturday night it's the annual Witherbee's carriage House Halloween Costume Party,  with prizes galore. Stone Rose will be scaring up the crowd with some rockin' dance tunes. (You might see some familair faces in Stone Rose -- they are some of the former members of the In Laws).

And mark your calenders for October 31 -- At DeCesares Pizza, where Deb is hosting a Kids Halloween bash from 4.30 pm  - 7 pm.
