Mountainside Bible Chapel will host their annual Meet Your Candidates night his coming  Sunday (November 3 at 6:00 pm). 

All local candidate running for office this November have been invited and all have accepted, we hear from organizer Barbara Rickards Dakin.

From Barbara:

"This is open to all candidates. Invitations have gone out to those running for re-election in Schroon Lake, to the candidates running for Town Judge, and for Essex County candidates.  I have received confirmation from all local candidates, as well as Kristy Sprague.  Town board members who are not running have also received a special invitation.  The program, which is about an hour, includes a challenge to citizens for personal involvement in government and responsible voting, music, and the introduction of each candidate. At this time they take a few minutes to say a few words about themselves and the office for which they are a running.  After this there is an informal dessert and coffee social for you to meet & talk with candidates in small groups or one-on-one"
