New York State Troopers – at the request of Governor Andrew Cuomo --  will be cracking down on speedsters this week.

The Governor announced Sunday the statewide effort will also target distracted or impaired drivers, vehicle occupants who are not properly buckled up, and drivers that are violating the “Move Over Law.”

The targeted effort coincides with the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series at Watkins Glen International Raceway.
