Schroon Republican Primary Results: Bill Tribou In By A Landslide
Retired corporate attorney Bill Tribou has easily won the Republican Primary for the November ballot for the position of Schroon Town Judge, Schroonlaker has learned.
Tribou won 148 of the 290 total votes cast, excluding absentee ballots.
Coming in second was Cherie Indelicato with 65 votes, followed by Paul Mireas, (57) and Tracy Hanchett (20).
With Tribou’s win today, he will not only be on the Republican Party line come November, but also as an Independent for the Honesty Party.
He will run against Hanchett, who will now run as an Independent for the Justice Party. Before today’s primary, Tribou and Hanchett had filed Independent Nominating Petitions to get a line on the November Ballot.
