Throwback Thursday: Our Own Wild West

There was a time back in the day, when a visit to an attraction wasn't complete, without the requisite souvenirs to take home. We dare say this fine specimen, from Frontier Town, at one time served its use as a TV dinner tray, or serving the kids sodas.

The above image is from a display at the Adirondack Museum, a gift from the Gokey Family. The museum says it was manufactured in 1970 -- well into Frontier Town's prime. The North Hudson attraction ran from 1953 to 1998. We have written about Frontier Town numerous times here at Schroon Laker.com -- just type it into our SEARCH BOX to the upper right of our homepage.
