In July we reported on the efforts of the American Red Cross and their "Totes of Hope" campaign, providing much need toiletries for veterans. From organizer Michel Michelsen Lee.

"In the Town of Schroon Lake, 351 pieces were collected.  Each tote has an average of 20 pieces.  The wonderful people in Schroon Lake filled more than 17 totes.  The Services to Armed Forces (SAF) component of the American Red Cross is most thankful for this generosity.  Through the Regional office at the Northeastern New York Chapter in Albany, totes are being distributed at various gatherings of veterans. Deanna Rios, the Regional SAF Coordinator, was flabbergasted when I delivered donation from Schroon Lake."
