Six Degrees of Schroon Separation and our Frosty The Snowman
New York's Long Island Newsday picks up today on a story that we first broke a couple of weeks ago, on Schroon's Frosty the Snowman (and potentially Mrs. Frosty!) and their frozen in place status on Leland Ave.
As we first reported, the sculpture is the work of the Maisonville family, who are known throughout the North Country for their fine works placing Frosty is all sorts of adventures. The photo and caption above, appears on page a40 in the State section of the tabloid.
Maybe during the next storm, the weather team at WPTZ could do a live shot from here with the Maisonville's next installation, as long the weather team correctly pronounces Schroon!
Below is one last year's works of art.
