Believe it or not,  there are some folks who get to the top of Mt. Severance and forget to go left -- missing out on the spectacular view of Paradox Lake. This stunning image was taken last summer by Chris Whit.

From Chris: "I've been going for about 3 years now, every summer and winter. I've been dating Anna Parker and her family has been going forever. Her aunt and uncle Lili and Jim Warnot just recently bought and kind of renovated the big house on the corner of River Rd and the boat house behind it so we hangout there quite a bit. Favorite place on earth!"
