One of Schroon Lake’s most well known residents passed away Wednesday after a long battle with lung cancer. Thomas Arthur Flynn was 78. Tom had worked at Drake Lumber, Drake Harness Racing and for 27 years at the Schroon Highway Department. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, at Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 U.S. Route 9, in Schroon Lake. Interment will take place in the spring.
