It’s gonna be a bone-chillier for the next couple of nights.  Tonight’s low in Schroon is going to be around 27 degrees and Sunday night the mercury hits 21.

There’s a snow shower or two in the forecast, but most of the action will be in the higher peaks to the north. It’s enough for the National Weather Service to issue a Hazardous Outlook Warning. 

Locally, Craig Kennedy and his crew at the Schroon Lake Marina are working as fast as they can to winterize as many boat and jet ski engines as they can, before the freeze hits tonight.

 On the home-front, make sure your crawl space heater is set to the right temperature and the water supply to outside garden hoses is turn off and drained.
