Strong winds are causing havoc on Schroon Lake. We have received reports that several boats – including our own – have broken from their moorings.  Please make sure all outside furniture is secured and anything on or near the water is tied down. Take a look at your neighbors’ properties if they are out of town, and lend a helping hand if you can.

Winds are currently 15 miles per hour,  with gusts up to 29 miles per hour. Be safe out there.
