Your Weekend Starts Now

The huge Pixar-Disney hit, Inside Out is this week’s movie at The Strand. It starts tonight. Over at Sticks and Stones, Steve and Gary invite you to join them for a performance by Underground Sky, featuring bongos and acoustic rhythm.

They are also hosting a  bring your dog to Bark at the Moon. From The lads:

“The Blue Moon of course! Heck, we will even serve ice-cold Blue Moon bottles for 3 Bucks all night (until we run out of orange slices or Blue Moon!)

Over at Witherbee’s Carriage House, Stone Rose will be appearing. The show starts at 8pm. And for ADK Shakes, there’s a ton of fun for the whole family on Saturday as they host ts first-ever Traditional Arts Festival Day at Scaroon Manor.

From Director Tara Bradway:

“Here's the schedule for the day and a plug for the final days of our Adirondack Gives fundraiser:

- 11:00 a.m. - Songs of the Iroquois: Turtle Island (a 50-minute performance by ADK Shakespeare's professional acting company)

- 12:00 p.m. - Arts & Crafts with the cast. Make your own sea turtle!

We have only 3 days left to raise the final $365 left in our campaign, thanks to donors online and in person at our performances. Every penny makes a difference!

Spread the word to your friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and anyone you meet! We are hoping for a great crowd at Scaroon Manor on Saturday! (We perform Rain or Shine. In case of rain, we'll be in the Picnic Pavilion nearby to the Amphitheater."
