The kid from Schroon Lake, with nothing more than a home made race calling tape that got him his first gig, is now the official race caller of the Kentucky Derby, even calling the race which featured a triple crown winner.
Travis career began in Shreveport, Louisiana, at LaDowns, when he was just 22. The Shreveport Times caught up with Travis on Saturday. In this story by Roy Lang III, Travis reflects on his amazing journey.
