Rest In Peace: Ralph Dudley

Schroon Lakers near and far are mourning the passing of Ralph Dudley, who fought a brave battle against brain cancer, with an entire community rooting for him.

Our condolences go out to Ralph’s family and his partner of many years, Kristin Forrester, who never gave up hope and never left his side.

For non-locals, Ralph and Kristen were the owners of Alpine Pizza, next to the Strand Theatre, where their pizzas and Garbage Bread was famous. (TheGarbage bread was dough filled with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, salami and cheese).

He was a huge fan of Frontier Town and their Alpine Pizza restaurant featured  memorabilia and some of the original tables and benches from one of the amusement park's restaurants.

Friends say Ralph and Kristen had been struggling with a huge amount of debt, due to medical bills. Now their friendsare asking you consider help out with the costs of funeral arrangements.

If you’d like to donate, you can click here, which will take you to Ralph’s You Caring website, or make a donation at the Schroon Lake Branch of the Glens Falls Bank. We will publish funeral arrangements when they are available.
