“We have Pine! I went to Vermont and got Pine’s original crate and blanket and the shelter mom’s shirt. Evan Mack brought his blood hound Gus who sniffed those things and led us directly to him. He was in the creek under a tree. Evan tried to get him and got bitten. Gus persevered and when the opportunity came I put Pine’s crate in front of him and he leapt into it. He is now home!
