For  almost three decades, Schroon Lake Central School’s Cookie Barker has shared her love of science, biology and chemistry with hundreds of students, and a bunch of locals.

Now, it’s time for Ms. Barker to put away her microscope and enjoy some quality time in retirement. At SLCS Ms. Barker taught college level biology, environmental science, regents biology, and regents chemistry. Just another reason why SLCS graduates have such terrific careers. In honor of her retirement, SLCS freshman Christian Gratto produced the above video. Nice work, Christian.
