From a press release from the Town:

“THE TOWN OF SCHROON has declared the following item surplus and will be sold to the highest bidder: Billy Goat Vacuum, Jacobson Fairway Mower, Turf Truck parts only, Fork Lift Forks, Steiner Tractor-parts, 3 Plastic Float Sections and sold as is, you may view them at the Schroon Lake Golf Course Pavilion . A Dodge 2004 Pick up Truck you may view at the Town of Schroon Transfer Station and a Caterpillar Generator Set, engine model C9, Model LC5, diesel, voltage 480V, amp rating 600amp hours used 409.5 as is, can be viewed at the Town of Schroon Wastewater Treatment Plant, 49 Fowler Ave. hours 6:30AM-3:00PM. All bids must be in writing and shall be in a sealed envelope marked sealed bid and addressed to the Town of Schroon, PO Box 578, Schroon Lake, NY 12870 and must be received no later than 10:00 AM on June 30, 2021 at which time said bids will be opened and read. The Town Board reserves the right to except or reject any and all bids at their discretion”.
