Want a unique way to cool off this summer? Get on on over to Vine and Barley, Schroon's hip and happening bistro, for some excellent light fare, cold beer and wine and some soothing wine slushies.
Vine and Barley are now open seven days a week until Labor Day. Their hours are Monday to Thursday from 12 noon to 8pm and Friday and Saturday noon to 9pm. Sundays Noon till 6 pm.

This self-guided tour highlights three Adirondack farms that are producing some of the finest artisanal cheeses in New York. Follow the scenic Ausable River through the foothills of the Adirondacks as you drive from farm to farm, at your leisure in any order. Experience the working landscapes, meet the animals & the farmers, and savor the finely handcrafted cheeses of Essex County!

Founded by Sasha Pardy in 2014, Adirondack Festivals LLC is based out of Queensbury, New York and is the organizer of the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival.
The 4th Annual Adirondack Wine & Food Festival is held June 23rd & 24th at Charles R. Wood Festival Commons (former Gaslight Village) in the heart of Lake George, New York. The festival is a celebration of the amazing wines, craft beverages, artisan foods and more that New York State’s finest producers have to offer! With a tasting ticket, attendees use their souvenir wine glass to sample wines, beers, spirits, ciders and unique food products from over 85 vendors in a farmer’s market style set-up. All vendors will also be selling their products for people to take home and the Festival makes that easy by providing a Purchase Drop-Off/Pick-Up tent for attendees to utilize. Food Trucks will also be offering unique food selections at a-la-carte pricing.
NEW this year, the designated beneficiary of the Adirondack Wine and Food Festival is Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks – their volunteers will be on hand all weekend long helping the event run smoothly and raising money through water & t-shirt sales & more.
NEW THIS YEAR: The Chef William Creations Culinary Tent, sponsored by Marcella’s Appliance, will feature cooking demonstrations performed by Finger Lakes Celebrity Chef William Cornelius and special guests all weekend long. The Chef will be utilizing his proprietary sauces, local foods and craft beverages in his recipes, as well as providing wine pairing suggestions. Also under the Culinary Tent all weekend, local bartenders will demonstrate unique Wine Cocktail recipes opposite the culinary demos, mixing new concoctions from wines and liquors available for purchase at the festival! This exciting new addition to the festival is sponsored by the Lake George Bar Crawl and Bolton Boat Tours. Also, Marcella’s Appliance will be adjacent to the culinary tent, smoking meats on Big Green Egg Grills both days of the festival, ending with a “fest taste test” of these delicious meats… is your mouth watering yet?!
The Adirondack Wine & Food Festival has quickly become one of the largest Wine Festivals in New York State and is recognized as a premier event for the Lake George Region.
