Christmas In Schroon 2014

Santa, a decorative Christmas Light contest, music and good times are all part of the 2014 Christmas in Schroon Celebration.

The events  -- which kick off on December 10 -- are sponsored by The Schroon Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The first event is the Holiday Concert at Schroon Lake Central School 6:30pm on December 10.  Then there’s the Annual Holiday Decorating Contest. There are two divisions:  for residential homes and one for the business community. Judging will take place on 12/12/14 late afternoon or early evening (weather permitting).

And on Saturday, December 13, Santa Claus is coming to Schroon, arriving at The Strand Theatre late afternoon.

There are also many of the traditional activities around town, including the tree lighting ceremony, live nativity scene and cookies and cocoa at the Senior Center. There will also musical performances in various locations around town.
