Adirondack Shakespeare Company’s Traditional Arts Festival

This Saturday (August 6, 2016), the Adirondack Shakespeare Company celebrates its second annual Traditional Arts Festival at Scaroon Manor Amphitheater.

The event is FREE, with paid admission to the park, and includes a performance of the original play Hiawatha, lunch and special activities for families.

The day kicks off at 11am with the performance of Hiawatha, storytelling by Kay Olan, la delicious lunch provided by the Adirondack General Store, and activities with Mohawk craftsman Bill Loran.

To keep the event free ADK Shakes is asking for your help by making a donation to their‪#‎AdirondackGives campaign.

From ADK Shakes co-founder Patrick Siler:

"Last year about 100 hundred people enjoyed the Festival, and we hope to see even more smiling faces in the audience this season! We hope you will contribute to keep our performance, lunch, and special activities free to the public and that you will help spread the word about this amazing educational and cultural experience happening here in the Adirondacks".

So spread the word and keep this terrific event going.
