The Seagle Music Colony

The Colony's post-season young artists are still in residence here in Schroon Lake through the month of September.

The post-season artists will present a revue entitled Stage to Screen: Classic Movie Musicals at the Oscar Seagle Memorial Theater in Schroon Lake on Friday, September 5 at 8PM and at the Wood Theater in Glens Falls on Saturday, September 13 at 7:30PM. ADK Shakes

Starting Sunday, August 24, the company begins the first of 13 shows. Sunday’s performance is Richard IV, Part 2 at the Scaroon Manor Amphitheatre. Check out their Calendar, here.

The Strand Theatre

On Sunday, August 24, renowned chamber music performers Louis Schulman, viola and Bill Zito, guitar, 4:00pm. The concert will include music of Guiliani, Villa-Lobos, Albeniz, Schickele and others. Tickets are $25, and will be available at the door 30 minutes before the performance.

The Schroon Lake Jazz Festival

Students arrive in Schroon this Tuesday, working out of the Seagle Music Colony campus. Many of the faculty and students will perform a series of concerts at the end of the week. (Watch for more details next week).
