Follow The PDX Trail: Now There's An App For That!

Fans of Paradox know the brewery’s motto by heart: Follow The Trial. Now, there’s an app for that.

The ACB TRAIL App, aka The Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail and Map, is a project produced by the Adirondack Craft Beverage Committee, a program of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. Their mission is to promote and enhance the craft beverage industry in the Warren, Washington, Northern Saratoga Counties of New York State and the North Country.

You can rate your experience and get a virtual badge for checking in at the various breweries.

The app makers say the launch of the Craft Beverage Trail App further extends the reach and benefits of the program. Got a beer App or any App to share? Let us know in comments.

The Future Of Schroon Lake Central School’s Sports Teams

During the dog days of a hot July summer, you are not inclined to think about anything school related. But this  Thursday, a lot of Schroon Lake parents will most likely be at the school board meeting, as they learn more about potential plans to combine some sports teams, specifically with Bolton Landing Central School.

If past experience on this matter is predictor of what might happen at this meeting, it’s sure to be a hot topic.

At stake is Wildcat Pride versus the number of available students at SLCS who can make up softball and baseball teams. New Superintendent Stephen Gratto sent parents an email today, alerting them about the meeting as well as laying out the scenarios which may prompt the merger between the schools modified and varsity baseball and softball teams.
