Lights On Parade In North Creek

Main Street North Creek gets into the festive spirit today with its annual Lights On Parade.

Floats will leave the North Creek Firehouse, and nearby Johnsburg School parking lot at 11:30 a.m. and will travel down Main Street ending at the Tri-County Nursing Home.

The good work of the Schroon Lake Lions is visible everywhere. Here is their latest effort. From Schroon Lake Central School: "On Monday, members of the Schoon Lake Lion's Club came to SLCS to do vision photoscreening of Pre-K and Kindergarten students. During a photoscreening the screener uses a special camera to take a picture of the child's eyes. Once the instant photo is developed, the photos are sent to a trained optometrist or ophthalmologist who analyzes the photo to look for signs of vision problems. SLCS appreciates the efforts of the Schroon Lake Lions!"
