So Long, Farewell Liz Welch

David Peterson, who runs the official Schroon Lake Facebook page, tells us of the upcoming retirement of one of Schroon’s best-known personalities: Liz Welch. Liz is retiring Friday (March 31) from the Post Office where she has served thousands of folks over a very memorable career. David is suggesting the occasion be celebrated.

From David: "Let's shower her with love and appreciation by putting something special for her in your mailbox. Ideas: notes, cards, gift cards, cookies, etc. etc.”

Liz, may your next chapter in life be filled with happiness and good health.
