Dock Dogs in Action
Bark it up for Adirondack Woofstock -- it’s back for 2017 June 3-4 in the Center of Chestertown. The events take place at the field behind the Chester Town Hall and the Brant Lake Mill Pond.
So bring your four-legged friend for some pool diving with the Hudson Valley Dock Dogs, let them try their ‘paws’ at Agility & Lure Chasing with Doggie Fun Zone, show off their disc catching skills with the Beantown Disc Dogs or enter them in the My Dog Has Talent Show!

Valentine’s Day may be in the history books, but there’s a lot of love from the many fans of Schroon’s own Paradox Brewery. And now fans can show their love for their favorite adult beverage. The award winning maker of some of the finest hand crafted beer in the land is competing in Governor Cuomo’s Taste NY Inaugural Craft Beer Challenge.
New Yorkers are invited to vote for their favorite New York brewery for a limited time. The five breweries from across the state with the most votes will be invited to a beer showdown, at a Taste NY Inaugural Craft Beer Challenge Event in New York City.
It won’t be too long until everyone in New York City (and beyond) will be able to get their hands on the liquid Adirondack gold so many of us are able to enjoy, as the brewery expands its canning operations, as well as the big expansion set for Frontier Town in North Hudson.
So let’s get behind Paul and Joanie Mrocka, and the award winning brew team of Devon Hamilton, Thomas Formicola, James DeWaard and Dalton Wilson.

And let’s all give a warm welcome to Mark Piper and the Open Mic Night at Witherbee’s Carriage House. Mark and his wife Sharon have enjoyed some well earned R and R, getting all jazzed for this summer. Woot Woot!
