Summer in Schroon: Read All About It!

static1.squarespace.jpg

One of Schroon’s hidden gems is the recently modernized Book Store of the Friends of the Schroon Lake Public Library.

A dedicated tribe of volunteers operates this special place in the basement of the Schroon Lake Health Center from 10 am. to 2 pm,  each Wednesday and Saturday during the summer.

Proceeds  from the sales are used  to supplement the book collection at the Library, upgrade computers and software and sponsor their amazing special programs, such writing programs and children’s programs.

Got used books, adult and children's, including novels, biographies, Adirondack books, cookbooks, DVDs and talking books? The Book Store needs them!,  Please drop off your donations at the main library,  15 Leland Ave,  Schroon Lake.
