There’s so much going on in Schroon this weekend, I am compelled to tell a joke that I’m sure a few comedians used over the years at the old Scaroon Manor:

"I feel like a mosquito at a nudist colony – I don’t know where to start!"

Music is prominently featured in this year's July 4^thcelebrations, with performances by several bands, including the Gregson Bros, artists from the Seagle Music Colony and Word of Life Collegians.

The drama is supplied by the ADK Shakes company performing “mini” Shakespeare scenes throughout the day. And the high flying action takes place in a tethered balloon ride at Schroon Lake Central School.
