Vincent Cangelosi loves rock and roll. And he also loves Schroon Lake. So he recently decided to bring his passion to to his favorite watering hole, The Timberwolf Pub in downtown Schroon Lake.

It's an Open Mic with a twist.

"We have a drum kit set up, and guitars and amps already to go for folks to play on,” Vincent told Schroon Laker.

“We do encourage folks to bring their own instruments and give everyone a chance to play.”

“Our first couple have been huge successes, so Helen (The Timberwolf owner) was happy to do another”.

And that’s happening this Saturday night (December 29), from 8pm ‘til 12am. The pub will offer drink specials through out the night.

Helen says she has seen an uptick in business with the Open Mics.

“They play everything. It’s a good time. It’s not too loud,” Helen told us today.

Vincent is a busy man. He often plays DJ throughout the year at the ‘Wolf and runs the Cangelosi Gallery on Main Street. His regular gig is the executive chef at the Montcalm Resort in Lake George.
