An Update From Santa

We have just gotten off the phone with one of Santa's little helpers who has given us a couple of updates about the Big Christmas Celebration about to hit Schroon this Saturday. First off, the decorating of Christmas Ornaments for children  -- sponsored by the kind folks at the Glens Falls National Bank -- will be from 4pm to 6pm at the Strand Movie Theater.

And after old St. Nick visits The Strand, the movie being shown this year will be The Rise of The Guardian, starring Hugh Jackman (rated PG). An Admission fee will be charged.

And don't forget to visit the Schroon Lake Chamber of Commerce office on Saturday for the annual Christmas Baskets raffle. All proceeds go directly to local Schroon area charities and families, who need a little extra help this time of the year.
